Syncarpha speciosissima

Cape everlasting

Sprawling, white-woolly shrublet between 20–60 cm tall, with erect, annual stems. Flower heads (July to January) discoid (no ray florets) and solitary on long stems. White to cream-coloured papery, sharp bracts surround the flower heads.

Distribution in the Hex

Slopes of De Doorns Sandstone Fynbos.
