Psammotropha anguina

Psammotropha anguina

Shrublet to 30 cm tall, mostly branching from the base. The leaves are 4-ranked, linear, spine-tipped, scale-like and pointing upwards with the margin curling back. The flowers (September to October) grow in dense clusters on short to absent peduncles with conspicuous bracts. The flowers are greenish cream-coloured to pinkish.

Distribution in the Hex

Sandy flats of De Doorns Sandstone Fynbos and Hex River Arid Alluvium Fynbos.
