Pelargonium crithmifolium
thickbark storksbill, Jakobregop
Succulent perennial shrub. Trunks are gray and bulky, but turn green in summer when leaves are absent. The leaves are pinnate. White flowers are produced on panicles that later dry and become spiny. Dried panicles are often retained until the next season.

Rocky shale flats of De Doorns Renosterveld Karoo vegetation near the old Osplaas Railway Station.
