Oxalis pulchella

Stemless geophyte with a large gummy and shallow bulb. The leaves are trifoliolate and fleshy with hairs underneath. Large epidermal cells are visible on the leaves. The flowers (May to June) are salmon or rose-coloured.

Distribution in the Hex

Sandy slopes and flats of De Doorns Sandstone Fynbos and Hex River Arid Alluvium Fynbos.
