Nemesia barbata

Annual up to 30 cm. Leaves are egg-shaped, toothed and opposite. Flowers (August to October, often after fire) in compact racemes, white with sky-blue to deep purple lower lip, upper lobes small and rounded, spur short to 2 mm long.

Distribution in the Hex

Sandy or loamy flats and slopes of Hex River Arid Alluvium Fynbos.
