Moraea setifolia

Moraea setifolia

Cormous geophyte up to 12cm. One or two linear, channelled and trailing leaves. Flowers are enclosed in translucent spathes (sheath-like bracts around the flower base) and are small, pale mauve with orange and white nectar guides.

Distribution in the Hex

  • Sandstone or shale flats and slopes of De Doorns Renosterveld Karoo.
