Moraea inconspicua

taai uintjie

Cormous geophyte upt to 45 cm. The stem is sticky. It bears 2 or 3 linear, channelled, and trailing or coiling leaves. The flowers (September to November) are small and yellow, brown, or cream-coloured with strongly reflexed tepal limbs.

Distribution in the Hex

Sandy and clay slopes of De Doorns Sandstone Fynbos and adjacent De Doorns Renosterveld Karoo.
