Leucospermum calligerum

Leucospermum calligerum

Shrub to 2 m tall. The leaves are lance-shaped to elliptic, covered in hair, and with 1 or sometimes up to 3 apical teeth. Flower heads (July to January) are rounded and cream-coloured fading to dull red.

Distribution in the Hex

Dry sandy slopes of South Hex Sandstone Fynbos.
