Ixia paucifolia

kalossie

Cormous geophyte between 12 and 30 cm tall; corm tunics with coarse and wiry fibres. Leaves linear to lance-shaped, sometimes curved like a sickle. Flowers (Septermber to November) white or beige, tube to 35 mm long and cylindrical.

Distribution in the Hex

Renosterveld slopes of De Doorns Renosterveld Karoo and possibly South Hex Sandstone Fynbos.
