Eriocephalus capitellatus

kapokbossie

Woody shrub to 1.6 with a silvery, silky appearance. The leaves are linear or three-lobed and grow in tufts. The flowerheads are small and white, often with only a single three-lobed ray petal. They are arranged in spikes originating in axils.

Distribution in the Hex

Dry sandstone slopes of De Doorns Sandstone Fynbos.
