Curio acaulis

Upright or sprawling perennial leaf succulent up to 30 cm. Cylindrical to spindle-shaped grey-green leaves in terminals tufts. Bears a solitary discoid (no ray florets) yellow flowerhead (October to November). The outer florets are female.

Distribution in the Hex

Rocky karroid slopes of De Doorns Renosterveld Karoo.
