Cissampelos capensis

Hairless, sprawling or climbing shrublet. Male and female flowers occur on separate individuals. The leaves are egg-shaped and blue green. The flowers (February to May) velvety green and grow in axils. Male flowers grow in a cyme, whereas female flowers grow in pairs or alone.

Distribution in the Hex

Sandy and rocky slopes in De Doorns Renosterveld Karoo and De Doorns Sandstone Fynbos.
